What are the advantages and disadvantages of living with your spouse?

I'm moving in with him soon but will be too shy to go to the bathroom or eat in front of him... what do i do??

Why in the world are you too shy to eat in front of him and if you cannot go to the bathroom with him around then shut the door so he cant see. I love living with my husband. We make each other happy and i am not shy one bit about eating in front of him or going to the bathroom or taking a bath lol. Why did you even marry if you cannot do things around him? My husband and I spend alot of time together and we watch tv together too. We sleep in the same bed. I could not even imagine what my marriage would be like if i did not live with him. You may need counseling and therapy for how you are feeling. Good luck to you.

Get therapy......because you will freak when he does an ATM on you or you have to O to completion..

Don't worry - that will soon change and it will probably be him that starts doing all that in front of you, which will make you feel better about doing it around him!!

My partner broke the ice by doing a really loud, smelly fart next to me within a few weeks of dating - its been 'no holds barred' ever since - infact it was probably a huge mistake on his part as I can beat him in all those departments hands down!!!

Disadvantage- Loss of freedom. Loss of freedom to be solitary on the odd day. Annoying qualities of the partner can be exacerbated.

Advantage- Constant companionship. Cheaper living costs. Constant availability.

"moving in with him" means you have a love relationship with this guy , ryt? but why on earth would you be shy to go to the bathroom & eat infront of him? have you not eaten together ever before?during your dating stage? and everyone uses the bathroom so whats the big deal? if these simple facts of life gives you discomfort then please don't move with him yet. There are other huge issues to tackle so much less than what you have now when a man & a woman decides to live together. Deal with yourself first or you are in for more dissapointments and eventually will only ruin the relationship.

Also, one is ready to move in with the other when s/he is comfortable enough to sleep,cook, eat, do laundry (& even smell & hear each others fart) have fun & be with each other on a daily basis.

too shy to eat and use the restroom??? well not only will you explode, but you'll starve to death at the same time.
cmon, you are human arent you? everyone uses the restroom. get used to it.

Just do it. You will get over the shyness in half a day.

Freedom for both of you is nothing to beat.

Only disadvantage is you will not miss each other.
