Should you compliment woman on their make-up?

Stop applying make-up She could also go to the extent of thinking that her make-up overrules her natural beauty.

Honestly you can say just something to her like color of lipstick really compliments your natural glowing color or that kOHL UNDER THE EYES really brings out the depth amd mystery in your eyes which you always felt...

dont compliment the make up, say something like "you look beautiful, you have a nice complextion."

Tricky question. Some women would consider it very rude - since they apply makeup to look more natural, or to cover flaws.

No!! Women want men to notice their beauty not their make-up.

all my life, i've had terrible skin so I compliment women when i see a flawless skin. I usually say, "you have flawless skin, may i know your skin regimen?" i've no complaints. in fact, they feel better afterwards..they say things like...you made my day!

compliment on eye makeup only and say wow your quite an artist!

Just say that she looks pretty or that she is beautiful. You don't want to get too specific because women put makeup on in an effort to enhance their natural beauty - it shouldn't be super noticeable.

dont say, wow your makeup looks great! simply say, wow you look beautiful. dont specify her make-up or her clothes or anything, that means your focusing on one thing and not everything she has. complimenting everything about her will make her more confident

It is much nicer to just say you look very nice today.

Maybe but it would be better to compliment her eyes instead of her makeup. The reason women use eye makeup is to boost their natural beauty but to compliment the method for the boost, implies that it is to fix something wrong. Try saying something simple like "you have such pretty eyes" .

either way you do it what your really saying is that wow your pretty on the outside but underneath your a grizzly bear lol

no. a woman will almost always take that to mean that their make up is messed up. compliment their clothes and if you are gay their shoes. you can tell them that they look very pretty or nice. that is almost always safe.

my mom like it when i pretend to mistake her make up for her natural looks. so, instead of saying 'wow nice lipstick' or something like that, say, 'wow your mouth is red'.get it?

I think it would be more flattering to complement them on their appearance in general, as most women wear makeup to look attractive; they don't want it to be the stand-out thing about them. Most go for the illusion of "natural beauty" and use cosmetics to enhance that.

If you want to compliment a woman on her makeup..dont come out and say...Wow your makeup looks great. Remember, when a woman is putting on makeup she is usually trying to accent her good qualities and camoflauge her flaws. Something like...Honey, your eyes look so beautiful tonight..that eyeshadow really makes them stand out....or your lips look so full and kissable when you are wearing that lip color. Compliment her as well, not just her choice of colors or ability to apply them
