Is black eyeliner accepted for a woman 60 years old to wear. It makes my eyes look larger and sorta sultry.? |
I use a thin line from the middle of my lid out. Why not? If you use this to look and feel better, then yes, of course you can. Yes, yes, why not? I'm sure you look great. It is acceptable! Keep using it! no it is not For a woman of that age I think black is a little harsh. Why not try a charcoal or a warm brown? It looks a bit softer. Black on the outside always makes eyes "open up" and that is a good thing!! You can do whatever you want, you should know how you like things. I think it's okay so long as you aren't putting on fake eyelashes. Its fine to enhance your best assests with a little make-up help, and eyeballs don't age !lol!! At age 60, you can wear anything you want! yes, i use it on upper and lower lids, im 52, and actually only started using it in last few years, it does make a difference , my cousin is 63, and uses it, and her eyes look great, just make sure the line is thin, or you can also smudge it with a q-tip If it makes you feel good about yourself, then why not? It depends on your coloring. I say if you still have dark hair and eyebrows, then yes. If you are gray or color your hair brown or red then a dark brown or gray will look better. Black eyeliner is too strong for some fair complexions. Can't find any reason why not! No matter how old you are, any woman can have make-up on! Sure! As long as you balance it out with red lipstick, black mascara, and smokey eye-shadow. Work it, girl! Yes, you can wear anything you think makes you look better/good or even if it only makes you happy! Honey, if you like it I Love it! What's most important is that you feel comfortable with your look. Generally, I recommend a soft black or brown-black eyeliner for more mature women as a true black can make us look older than we intend. Also, you're doing great by not taking the line all the way in to the corner. That can age us also. You know exactly what you're doing, so keep it up! I think it looks great as long as it is not liquid liner which can look harsh (especially as we mature). It is best to use a pencil liner and soften the line with a pointed q-tip or use a thin line of black eyeshadow (applied with a dry eyeliner brush or a very tiny angle brush) for a softer look still. |
