Why do woman open there mouths when they apply mascara??

is it to be more careful?

I read it in a book once.

It has to do with control and stability. Doing that stretches the skin a little bit and it's easier to control.

it just gives us a sense of concetration, it just happens naturally

i dunno... i think that is just much more conferable than just closing your mouth

Beauty experts suggest women open there mouths while applying eye liner and mascara. Reason behind this is because when u open ur mouth it relaxes the eye muscles to help apply better. instead of pulling down like some people do. It's actually a good thing

that's weird, i usually have my mouth closed. trust me, the mouth has nothing to do with the eyes.

No, I think it's just reflex. By tilting your head up in order to see your eyes better, your mouth will just open because you are relaxed and not really working your muscles.

Everytime i catch myself doing it i close my mouth. ever notice when a mom feeds her child with a spoon they open their mouths too
