I am a man , I guess a transvestite, where and how can I learn how best to dress like a woman?

I am a man , I guess a transvestite, where and how can I learn how best to dress like a woman?

Do you have a lady/girl friend that knows you're a transvestite, ask her for help. There are places in the UK that will do a make over for you, I've seen the results and they'd fool me. Go and take a walk around town or sit in a cafe, without being too obvious have a look at what ladies in your age group are wearing. Don't be too tarty, you'll only draw too much unwanted attention and I'd hate you to get hurt by bigoted idiots.

Pity you don't live near me, I'd be happy to take you shopping. Oh well!

Good luck Hun xxxxxxxx

that is soo gross

fashion magazines
everything is in there from make-up/hairstyles/clothes and then you just play around with suggestions until you find the ideas that work for you. I know a guy (gal) who frequently shops in the discount stores trying out ideas because then he doesn't waste a lot of money...he shops as a woman.

look at fashion magazines, Lucky, In Style, etc. They have great clothes. If you are a thin person, you can go on line and sometimes you can find sites that put together outfits for you. Ann Taylor used to have something like that. Personally, I like shopping at the Gap.

Sears and Robuck catalogs circa 1965

Have you looked at women's fashion mags and catalogs? Also, if you're interested in makeup, perhaps a consultant from one of the direct marketing makeup lines (like Mary Kay, BeautiControl, Arbonne) will assist you if you don't feel comfortable shopping in stores.

go to this website...it also has a cool chatroom...one mayjor rule...be honest polite and respect everyone who goes there..i am a plain simple female..have been since birth..sometimes i go to this chatroom and website cause i made some decent friends that i respect
type this in google
urnotalone.com

My uncle does shows dressed as a women he has even been on tv on bbc1 doing a program about it,hes a pro,he will definately help you out.

whatever turns your crank - watch the movie The Birdcage - Robbin Williams is in it - seems to presenet an acceptable sort of attitude - if the movie is somewhat accurate - there is a place where men go that like to dress like women can't remeber off hand - watch the movie, it is a good movie.

Buy fashion mags to get ideas. If you live in an area that has a gay and tranvestite community go to that area to shop. Go to a club with drag shows and get advice from some of those people. One of my friends got a job working for a drag show just to get ideas for himself.

magazines. You can learn everything to do with fashion from them or just look at how women are dressed and dress like they do

you should kill yourself.
you make me sick

It depends how far you want to go with it. If your looking to be a normal woman, I would say look around you. There are billboards and magazines, and women everywhere. If your going to the extreme www.drag-queen.com has great information on how to become a drag queen. With everything from make-up to walking techniques. Even if your going with the less extreme approach, that website may be able to still give you a few tips.

PS I admire your courage to ask this question. Don't let people's judgement weigh you down. Be you. Remember, people fear what they don't understand.

trannies arent cute. if your looking for acceptance, yahoo answers is not the place. (seriously, PENIS' ARE HOTT! Y CHOP IT OFF? KEEP IT!)

-.-

u make me sick! ur gross, disgusting, and wrong, so im not even gonna answer your question!

you could try looking at women's fashion magazines, you might get some ideas there, you will get lots of ideas if you watch television, soaps, etc will give you a good idea of what different woman wear, and of all ages.you could also look at some home shopping catalogues, they would give you loads of styles,do you have a style in mind?if you do then try to work with that and stick to it,remember its what makes you feel comfortable, not what you think others want you to wear.as with all woman don't dress too young or too old for your age, experiment with different styles, colours,im sure there are specialist websites that you could use...good luck.

this makes me sick but
