Why do some women put a prissy gaze on their face?

I'm sure many guys know what I'm talking about. It's when they don't make any eye contact and they kind of stare off to one direction like their trying for some kind of glamour look. Sometimes I think they don't want to be bothered but other times I see models with this same look on their face. Are there any men who think this is a sexy look? I find it too self absorbed to suit my fancey. Someone please explain this look to me.

Ughhhh I think i know it and its just people trying wayyy to hard most of the time, and they think they just look better that way! They might be nice tho so dont judge. Oh and dont get it confused with the REAL look which is usually when girls are staring off into the distance with their eyes kinda glazed over and that usually means that were just EXHAUSTED!! haha hope it helps!

ah...i find myself doing that a lot when i'm with my boyfriend and his friends i think it's because i'm shy though and i never like making eye contact with anyone i feel prettier when i'm staring off into space for some odd reason...lol

Because they are prissy.

For example i don't feel confortable when looking in a strangers eyes ( especially when talking to a pretty guy). I find the look unbearable, like a burning force..I feel like I must fight his stare.. and I HAVE to look somewhere else..that's doesn't mean I'm not interested in what he is saying..it's just i'm kinda shy...
