Either focus on your eyes or your lips - not both, as that's garish. Use the products that contain retinol so you get an early start on lines...and don't forget the upper chest when applying these. I suggest you get a makeover somewhere you can afford to buy stuff from (department or specialty). You can update your colors and application style too. One thing I MUST say, is that when you're a forty year old woman, you need to start toning down the makeup, because now you're not trying to look older, you're trying to look younger. forget make up, at that age you are trying to keep your skin youthful and smooth, so get some good eye cream to control those crows feet, then get some day lifting cream it really works, and then at night use vitamin e with some night cream, that will make you look fresh and pretty not all caked on with make up which makes a person look older Bare Minerals, because it looks really natural if you follow the directions.
