Are there any elderly women out there who knows where one can purchase a loose power compact?

I don`t mean the doube mirror ones. The ones with the mesh
cover over the loose powder.

I have done extensive research on this! Your best bet is to check out the Stratton ones on eBay (search on for example "Stratton compact new"), they're good quality and you can get them in lots of different shapes, sizes and finishes.

I wouldn't recommend getting a second-hand one, mainly because the mesh cover tends to be very fragile (and they break easily when you try and wash them)...

It is a long time since I saw one but suggest you look through the charity shops or second-hand shops. Maybe even a car boot event.

Physician's formula makes a powder called loose to go, its a loose powder that you can take with you anywhere and when you need some you just turn the sifter on top to get the amount you want. You can get it in most drug stores, its pretty cool.
