We replaced our air heat with hot water/baseboard. How can we cover the old registers? |
We don't want to replace the hardwood floors (we recently had them refinished). We're looking for a plate cover to put over the old holes were the registers were. Any suggestions? Patch the openings with oak flooring and match the color and varnish. They can be made to order from any good A/C wholesale supply, one that specializes in ducting. They may even have matching wood grain texture. Get a friend in any legitimate business order for you at their discount wholesale cost, they are not cheap. You could use existing vents for central A/C or for Air Exchanger ducting. Why not get some different registers ?? You can buy some very attractive ones nowadays. Just a thought ! |
