How much should I expect to pay to hire someone to repair/replace my sidewalk in front of my house?

There are about 14 squares that need repairing and 2 that need replacing. We are in Michigan.

Please....Please....Please this is the wrong place to ask this question. Pick up the phone book and get 3 "local" estimates then you will know what you should pay based on the local market.
City or County sidewalk replacment does require a permit...

Also... strongly consider having the repair pieces removed its cheaper in the long run and you will look and perform much better. Get 2 bids one for replacement and one for repair. If the products they are using (for repair) are not almost equal in cost to replacing they are not good products and you have seen what a bad "patch" job looks like after the first winter.. `

thank you.. Report Abuse

in pennsylvania our main walks are five ft. wide. and the going rate for tear out and replacement is approx. 200.00 per 5x5 block...

Not cheap anyways. Concrete repairs dont last long (2 yrs) in your climate.

concrete slabs like? i could do that for you, id proly charge you $500 depending on the size of the job, it wouldnt take long to do
