How much does it cost to elevate a house and add a basement foundation? |
I know this is a difficult question to answer, but I would love to have a ballpark figure. At a guess it would nearly be cheaper, or atleast not much dearer to knock down your house, dig it out and start again, you get a basement and a new house in one go. Too much. You would be better off buying another house in a similar setting already with a basement. In addition to raising the house, building a foundation, pouring a basement floor, plumbing and electrical becomes involved. New Hampshire should be pretty costly I am going to guesstimate there is alot involved 45K plus and that is going low.. If you want a basement sell and move a lot cheaper.. Contact a house mover and get a price. There are just too many variables involved here. you could be looking at 20,000 or more |
