Why do woman pay lots of money for fake hair just to tell everybody it's not their hair?

I never understood why pay $100 for the best hair weave, get it styled real cute, everybody thinks it's your hair, and then you go around telling everybody you bought it. What 's the point in spending so much money if you're not going to claim it!

It's maybe a sign that they have a lot of money to spend on themselves? Plus, there is nothing worse than a woman claiming her hair/nails/breasts whatever are real when they blatently aren't so I guess this avoids that criticism.

It's better than lying about it. It's just like admitting your hair is dyed - I don't go around telling people that out of nowhere, but if the subject comes I'll freely admit that I dye my hair. I think most women will.

haha yeah i agree and i have no idea. if i payed a lot of money to have fake hair ide tell people its real and that i just styled it differently.

they do it because their hair is all rough and it doesn't look as nice as fake hair...all though now a days they usually buy real peoples hair and put it on theirs

yeah that is pretty stupid. the only way you shouldnt claim it is if somebody asked first if it was your hair.
