I would like to know why do black woman think that they can wear blond hair and blue contacts?

I see so many black women with blond hair it aint funny actually it looks stupid why do you do it?

For the same reason white, Asian, and Latina women think they can. Blond ain't for everybody (especially platinum blond) but everyone has a different idea of what they think looks good. Do whatever makes you feel good.

Well, you should keep your hair 2 shades darker or lighter than your skin color for it not to look crazy, but i don't think that's true - at all ,

but going from black hair to blonde hair is kind of crazy, the keep up and all - but then i would dye my hair pink and blue and purple - all three - so i guess it's what floats your boat!

who cares? all races do it - the biased european standard of beauty- i think that most of the time it looks bad but i will admit that golden or light brown skinned blk girls look better with blonde hair than a lot of pale or even tan white girls. sa far as blue eyes...that looks good on some ppl. i know a couple blk ppl who were born with blue eyes so yeah..

they probably just want a change. i am white with green eyes and have had every hair color imaginable. it may not have looked wonderful, but it was fun.

well the blue eyes doesn't look too bad...but the blonde hair only works for a very SMALL amount of black women...but w/e floats their boat LOL

African American women should be able to wear whatever hair color they wish. They look great with blond hair and blue contacts. One can ask the question, why do Caucasians like getting tans? This is a free country and you should be able to wear whatever hair and skin color you want. Judging by your question and comments you sound very immature.

um, because they want to? i would think that that would be obvious. it could be for any deeper reason from individuality to making a mockery of our society's fashion ideals to attempting to conform to those ideals... but really... does it matter?

I would have to say that a lot of black women do look good with it. And even if they don't they may want to wear that and if thats there choice then thats it. you shouldnt critize for that.

For the same reasons why white women want to get darker skin at tanning booths, collagen injections for fuller lips, and wear braids , etc ... it's an individual choice. May not work for everyone -- but who are we to judge what we choose for ourselves!
