African American woman getting ready to let my relaxer grow out. Can I dye the new growth? |
The last time I put in a relaxer was June 20, 2006. Can I Dye the new growth? You can color your hair. I recommend you deep condition because the point where the relaxer stops and the new growth start is very fragile. I would wait a few months myself because color changes the texture of your hair. Let your hair grow out and then work with it. You don't want to hinder the growth of all that healthy virgin hair. It's going to take patience. Good luck!!! u can color the regrowth and u can also pull through to the relaxed the last few minutes.. just watch it close and make sure u really condition the relaxed area before u color it.. Yeah you can dye the new growth. Yes, you can put a chemical over another chemical after a week. If you are only wanting to cover the gray try beautiful browns semi permanent color (available at Sally Beauty supply) - you can relax and color the same day with it. Yes it is ok for you to color your hair now.....but you have to at least wait 4 weeks after you color your hair if you want to get a relaxer. You can color all of it. you should wait 2 weeks I don't know. I'm doing the same thing and my goal is to let ALL my perm grow out and be chemical-free. I would definately go see a beautician regarding dye for your hair. June is not that long ago, you may end up breaking your hair off at the point of your natural hair and the permed hair. please dont dye your new growth because that would look nasty,beacuse your new groth is eather weavy or curly.you dont want to be lokking a hot mess |

Women hairstyles change like the stock market. I let my wife know if I do not like what she does with her hair. As for curly hair, it would really depend on your looks. I'm not implying you... well im a black woman as well and i had the same problem! i use carol's daughter products. jada pinkett uses it and it works fantastic on my hair. i used to used dr. miracles but i couldnt sta... i like long one ... but not so much let say till middel of the back .. good luck :) ...I hardly doubt that's true considering a lot of (superficial) guys I know complain if their girlfriends get a drastic haircut, and some I know have even broken up with girls for it. Of cour... My son's hair is that type. I used to have to just grab areas and comb it from tip to scalp so that I wasn't pulling his hair out! I got tired of it and cut it really really short. I s... That was Uma Thermon wearing a brunnete wig. In real life she is blonde (and in almost every single other one of her movies) ...The target consumer is female. It would be silly to show a picture of a man on a product that is probably purchased by women 99% of the time. 鉁?/div> |
