Does anyone know how to fill the gap between a fence post and gate?

My dog keeps slipping through the gap and getting out of the yard. Does anyone know if somebody makes something to attatch to the gate to cover this area?

I have a small poodle. The gate must be able to still open. I was thinking someone made some kind of rubber thing like you put on the bottom of a door to keep cold air out, but I can't seem to find anything like that for a gate.

First is it a wood post or a metal post? Anyway I used the plastic strips that factories use to drive their forklifts through instead of opening and closing the doors. It works well and it's clear and can be nailed or bolted onto your post.

chicken wire i know it sounds gross but it worked for me.

Don't know if anything is made, but you could look at adding a piece of rubber to the area that the dog is slipping thru. This will allow the gate to still open and something that will keep the dog in. btw must be a small dog or a large gap :P
