How do you grow a cutting from a Frangipani?

I want to know if you have to dry the branch frist and for how long?

Take a cutting about half length of your arm..let it dry out in the sun, until cut end is calloused over, take cut end,,put in a pot of good drainage growing soil and in the spring youll have a nice plant. This is for four season areas.
If you are in a tropical climate you can do the same thing but plant it in a nice spot in the ground, surrounded by other flowers and plants.
These plants dont do well trying to root in water. More

Frangipanis are easy hon. Take a cutting of oh 8 inches long. Put in the garden where you would like to put the new tree. Lay it flat on the ground and cover it over with light soil and light garden mulch. Water and leave new growth with come up through your layer. I dont know if this is true but I know I had to grow my pinks in one end of the garden and whites the other cause if grown together the coloured ones turn white.....
Good Luck beautiful perfume

Frangipani are easily propagated by taking a cutting of leafless stem tips in spring and allowing them to dry at the base before inserting them into soil. They are also propagated via tissue culture both from cuttings of freshly elongated stems and via aseptically germinated seed.
