What is a tactful way to stop gossip between friends and family? The most tactful way is to set an example. Refuse to engage in gossip yourself, and people will come to see the light. You could say, "Well, everyone has their problems, don't they? I know I do, and I'm sure you do, too. I've wondered if talking about ** doesn't just make **'s problem worse. What do you think?" Talk to them ask them how they would feel if someone they knew was talking about them behind their backs and saying bad things or spreading rumors gossip not only hurts the person it talks about but also the people who spread it. you can not 'it.s like a soap opera . that never ends . tell them 2 stop |
