How to turn chicago into a birthday party with only 5 people??

My best friend's birthday is on Monday, but that is the day before finals and we have a full day of school. Because of that I can't really do much on her actual birthday. On thursday, when our last final is done we are planning on going downtown chicago with the birthday girl, three of my friends and I. How do I make it so she feels like it is a birthday partyish thing. What are some surprises I could do while there, or on the way?
