What is the most flattering tailored coat length for a petite woman? |
coats that hit at the hips, just below the hip, mid-thigh, or knee length? I would think that anything just above the knee or higher would be right. Once you start hitting the knee you probably start getting into dumpy territory, and you probably don't want that. But if you find something you really like and it seems too long, consider having it altered. Sometimes to get the best fit you need to spend a little extra. And with an investment piece like a coat, it might be worth it. Just call around first to see how much it might cost before you decide. To find someone, look under tailors in your area yellow pages.
