When a woman wears a suit, should the collar of your shirt go in or out of the collar of the suit?

I'm a new attorney and have to wear a suit quite often and I can't figure out if the collar of my button up shirts should lay flat outside of the collar of the jacket or if it should be inside of the jacket. Please help.

Go ahead and leave it out, it does make the suit look for feminie and polished. I have seen some women leave it tucked in, and I just dont like it. I really think that the tucked in look should be reserved for guys and even then, only when they wear a tie.

I do have to dress up often (in medical school) and my collars are always tucked out.

Men tuck the collar in, women let the collar come out of the jacket. Men only tuck in their collar because of the tie.
