What is up with this pregnant woman dress fashion?

Okay lately more and more girls seem to be wearing oversized dresses that make them look like they're pregnant. For example take the girls from "the hills" or some dresses that jordin from "american idol" wore. What do you all think?

One thing is being pregnant and being fashionable but another is not being pregnant but looking like you are.

Fashions come and go, right now the fashion is wearing oversize dresses, who knows, next we will probably turn around and wear skintight stuff. It will pass, if that is your main concern.

Don't offend pregnant women, there's nothing wrong with looking beautiful.

ya. i use to call it pregnant looking shirts. i think its so cute. its not exactly pregnant, its like old fashion, except modernized. it exemplifieis girls womanly curves.
but i dont like the ones that give absolutely no shape. yuck.

I like it, since I am pregnant. Otherwise, I'm not sure why someone would want to look pregnant if their not.

maybe it's those kinds of shirts where you wear leggings withh.. you wear big shirts with leggings.

It's just the style, some people hate um others love um...Personal preference. I personally don't wear them but i've seen some girls that look cute with them on.

its comfortable and great for hiding you middle, even if you dont look pregnant. its just whats in style right now, things come and go.

They are call "empire waist" dresses or tops, and they look like the old roman dresses.
Some can actually look very cute, they are very comfortable for girls and they can hide a few extra pounds, but you are right , my boyfriend hates them!! he said that there is no valid reason for a girl for wearing pregnancy clothes around!
I like them and they are confy! but sounds like fashion is about pain , workout , skinny stuff and firm skin all around!

being pregnant does seem to be in right know, and i think the dresses or cute, not everyone can pool them off, but i like them, don't worry style s pass by pretty fast if you don't like, then don't, it will be over soon.

well some people say its a trend while others disagree. I really think it depends on who wears it. Personally i think it looks like an expensive potatoe sack :) but thats just my opinion
