Why would a woman that's not rich save enough money to buy a terribly expensive pair of shoes?

Manolo,Gucci,and Prada are the brand names of the 3 most expensive single pairs of shoes on Ebay right now. All 3 are around $1500 in price. If decent made knock-offs could be found for much less,why would a woman that's not rich actually save and sacrifice to be able to buy a pair?

Because having some nice things makes you feel a lot better about all the things you don't have. I have a couple of great pairs of shoes that were $250-300 (I don't have any $1,500 shoes, though), but I never get to take a really nice vacation. I can spend $250 once a year and have something very nice that I can wear whenever I want, but I can't afford to spend a couple of thousand dollars taking a vacation to Hawaii or Europe, even though I would really like to, because I am a single parent. The little luxuries are just as important as the big ones.

BECAUSE I WOULD BUY AN APPLE COMPUTER NOT A PC.

We like to reward ourselves with luxury items. I own a million pairs of shoes, but not too many are truly expensive. Then again, I'm not broke. I know a few people with some weird sense of enititlement that do this all the time. They live off credit, and they'll be bankrupt in a few years. Hooray for irresponsible people! Your tax dollars bought them shoes!

Because looking broke and being broke are two different things. If you're gettin evicted tomorrow buy a cute pair of shoes to help you feel better about today. :)

Well expensive show can be a great way to reward oneself for working hard , they also last longer than cheaper shoes.
