Remember back five or six years ago when a woman wore flip flops on a White House tour and everyone called her

"Trailor Trash" and otherwise derided her for dressing down on a visit to the White House (i think she might have even met the President).

Now, however, Flip Flops are some kind of fashion statement, and no one would even have looked twice at her foot adornments.

Isn't' this weird?
Maybe it was HER who started this weird fad ??

Flip flops are not fashion, assessory yes, fashion no. Like Crocs, not fashionable in anyway, shape, or form.

I think it all depends on the flip flops, but i wouldnt' want to be at the white house in a pair of walmart specials, if i met the president on the beach, or at the park thats a whole different thing.
