What do you think I should ask for for my 13th birthday present?

I know it's a really stupid question but I want something special. 1.Really I'd love a cat but Mum and Dad aren't too keen because cats bring in dead things and although they love cats and used to have 5 they are apparently enjoying 'not having to worry about walking on dead birds and mice which cats bring in'.
2. A tent would be great but ideally I'd like to be able to use it on my birthday for a camping sleepover. I can't really do that though because we'd all freeze to death as my birthday's in December. Can you still camp out in December?
3. A new mobile phone would be nice, I've got a really old one at the moment. But it's what any old 13 year old would ask for and I want something different.
Any suggestions? I know it's really really stupid but I just can't think of anything and I want to ask in advance because last year I started a birthday list a week before and didn't give me parents enough time. Thanx

BTW. To the person who thought I was American, no, I'm English and live in Kent for your information. Anyway, how does that make me sound as if I'm American. Thanx for everyone's answers!

How about that all your presents and money be given to those children in the world that have nothing. Food for a child in Africa instead of a pet; your tent could go to an orphan refugee who had no home, or instead of a mobile phone another 13 year old could get education for a year. We live in a very unfair world sadly.

Just a thought!! but I hope you have a nice birthday anyway.

Well you are probably looking forward to something you can have here and now but here is an idea.

Why don't you ask your parents to start a savings account to help you buy a car when you get your license? If you asked my daughter she would tell you that is a great idea. She has her license but does not always have access to a car because she uses ours. She gets very frustrated. If you had three years to save for a car you would be surprised what you could buy! Ask your parents if they will match the money that you contribute. Such as if you deposit $50.00 they will deposit $50.00. This gives you a goal to focus on. You could take on babysitting jobs or other jobs to earn money. You can watch your savings grow and even look around at different cars that you like. Your friends will all be jealous when you turn 16 and buy a car of your own!

Ask for the Mobile Phone, the Tent and $100. That way you call set up the tent during the summer and use the phone to call for a hooker with the $100 and bang her in the tent.

Xbox360 and Grand Theft Auto IV.

okay well I asked for a pretty expensive playstation game but heres a few suggestions 1.laptop (if you think they can afford it) 2.digital camera if you dont already have one 3.the phone is a great idea go with that if you have to! 4.maybe not a cat but some other furry animal...fettet,rabbit,hamster there are plenty of possibilities just be creative and if all else fails ask for cold hard cash$$$

heh if i were i would have asked for money lots of money its better than a cat really but good luck and i hope u have happy birthday mine is on october im gonna be 13 too! YAY

A pc or a laptop? At least it'll be useful to you when you grow up.
Think about it, you'll only get this chance to get what you want once a year.

get a dog! cats are boring. tell them it will teach you responsiblities or something .

i think the best present for your birthday is the mobile phone...because if cat brings dead things inside the house, then for sure your mum would be reluctant to give it to you...for the tent, yeah its nice to have it but you can use it only occassionally...unlike the mobile phone...you can either have the better or the worst gift from it...only that its up to you on how you use your mobile phone if it is for better or for worse....if i were you i would rather choose the phone

ok so if not a cat, what about some other pet? i had a rabbit a long time ago and it was so much fun :)

i cant usually come up with anything for my birthday so i ask for a surprise. it can be risky but it usually works. or just ask for money, and u'll buy something for yourself when you figure out what you want.

clothes

You must be American. But it's so cool you know how dumb that question sounds. But it's true people ask you what do you want for your birthday and you just don't know what to say to them......What about asking them for an adventure....Hot air ballooning with your friends or lessons in scuba diving or even ask them if you can drive their car.Yeah ,something different

Things break, get lost or just get out dated, but your memories will stay with you.

How about a special day with you and your friends, what about a limo ride to get a make over, then on to have a photo of you and your friends done at a studio, then maybe on to a play or meal before your sleepover

or

a course of lessons for something you've always wanted to eg horse riding, street dancing, djing, carting or something!

What ever you choose I hope you have a great day!!

On the pet front have you ever heard of axolotls, their great they are endangered so you'll be making a difference and their dead cute, they look like Pokemon... I brought my daughter some for her 12th birthday... look here to find out more
