What is the typical age to settle down and start a family?

I think it totally depends on the couple. It is not age that makes the difference it is the commitment, ability to care for each other emotionally, physically and financially. It depends on how long you have "really" know each other, what you have in common, the reasons for wanting to be married, etc. I also think that both parties should have lived outside of their parents' home and not with each other for about a year to sow your wild oats. As for starting a family, depending on your age, I think a couple should be married for four or five years with a nice nest egg before beginning a family. Enjoy your single days - enjoy your early married life - then you will be able to enjoy your children.

any age above 18 specially 25 might be perfect.

for boys, 30-35

No younger than 25. Most people don't even know what they are going to be when they grow up at 25. Better figure that out first before you start a family.

I think the best age is 30 so then at 30 you've had enough time to get your career straight and have had enough time to save up enough money. And with being older its easier starting a family. And that way at 30 you've by then had all your fun.It'll be fun starting a family too though, just a different fun.

I f you are smart this is what I would do. Before you think about leaving home Plan to move on your own first! The reason for that is so you know what it is like to be on your own. That way if something ever happens if you are living with someone. You dont have to feel like that you are stuck and dont know what to do. That way you know you are going to be ok. I would say that for about 2years. By then you will know what it is like to be on your own. Good luck

a typical age for girls would be 24-28yrs old... for guys prob 26-35yrs old i reckon.... after marriage, starting a family prob takes less than a year... so give yourself 1-2years to have baby and start a whole new family :)

Personally I don't think it should be until at least 2 years after college....to give you time to live by yourself and take care of yourself.
