What are the chances of your first male cousin being your half brother? |
If your father told your mother her sister's son could be his? My father acts strange when ever I mention this cousin so I am beginning to think. We are in our 30s now. I want to mention this but don't know how. SO, your father acts strange whenever your cousin is mentioned.... What makes you automatically assume that he could be your brother? I wouldn't automatically assume anything. Maybe he had some sort of fall out with your cousin that you are unaware of. If it really bothers you, sit down with your Dad and say "Dad, I've noticed that you act a little strange about (cousins name here)... do you not like him?"... That will at least get the conversation started. Did your dad actually tell your mother that the child could be his? If so, I would come out and ask him. Tell your dad you want to talk to him in private and simply say, " dad, I overheard you tell mom that __ might be yours. Is this true?" See what he has to say about it. He will either lie or tell you the truth, but I would use some tact when asking this question, and beware of your dad's mood. And make sure that you tell him you love him and that no matter what his answer is your feelings toward him will not change. |
