What is the easiest way to keep a baby entertained? |
i am babysitting and if i set the little baby down she starts crying.if anyone could give me an idea on how to keep her entertained i would love to hear it. she isn't my baby.i am only 13.i am babysitting her because her mom is busy. just put her in your lap and turn a really annoying baby's show. and then just rock her and soon she'll be asleep Babies (newborns mostly) are only interested in one thing, not being alone. Touch is THE most important thing to any baby. Babies need the reassurance of touch. If the baby cries when you put the baby down, then the baby is losing the feelings of touch and that makes for insecurity and the baby cries. Think about it, didn't it always feel better when you were smaller when your mother held you? well intertained her/he it toys and give he/she funny face it woul laught well my cousin is just the same way, he doesnt want me to put him down, so i put on his favorite cartoon and he stays entertained well, I used to have to watch my lil sister's all the time when they were babies... Babies love it when you make funny faces... and when you tell them stories... and when you play with their favorite toy with them. Babies also love playing with faces, and hair...
