What are good movies for children in elementary school? |
I'm looking for movies with good stories. Maybe something that teaches a lesson by a movie. Something kids would be interested in watching also. Back to the Future Here are my personal animation favorites with an underlying message: < Back to the Future> disney movies, disney-pixar, dreamworks animation (such as Joseph: King of Dreams or Prince of Egypt, if you are teaching a religious studies class) theres always Bill Nye the Science Guy (always a great laugh, and he shows many experiments that kids love to try) most children's animated features teach lessons and are interesting, you just have to watch for them and not discard them immediately as a free-time movie books would be better Jack with Robin Williams Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the version with Gene Wilder). Daddy Daycare, Matilda, Denis the Menace, Hook, The Little Princess(for girls), Jumanji, that Dr. Suess movie where the "things" have stars on their bellies....You know, the good ol' movies. Santa Clause 1-2 Anne of Green Gables The animated version of BFG: The Big Friendly Giant "Cars" The Rescuers or the Rescuers Down Under were like the best thing since gummy bears when I was little! I thougth Chicken Licken was a very strange book, see if they have that in a movie. Cars teaches values about friendship. Finding Nemo and Charlottes Web. You will have to excuse the lack of commasinCharlottes because I am new user of the computer. I think of course, science videos. Some like volcanos and some about animals.they can be pretty funny 2. Veggie Tales. Check your local library. I love Monster House. there are so meany out there, finding nemo, shark tales, shreik, 1,2,3., aristocat, lion king. finding nemo]]] little fut |
