I am having a jewelry party in a couple days,at 8pm,what should I serve?

I am planning to have Angel food cake, strawberries, and Cool Whip, what else would be something good?

MAY I MAKE A SUGGESTION?

YOUR CHOICES SOUND DELICIOUS! BUT!! PLEASE READ MY COMMENTS.

Do not serve sticky food.
Do not serve Crumbly food.
Serve simple food that can be easily eaten, without soiling the hands or clothes.

STICKY JEWELRY DOES NOT SELL WELL.

IF YOU SERVE DRINKS, DO NOT FILL THE GLASSES TO THE "SLOSHING POINT".

All forms of discomfort detract from sales. ESPECIALLY HIGH END ITEMS.

DON'T GET MAD AT ME, THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT.

I would offer a red and a white wine. If you also include one specialty drink that would be nice for the non wine drinkers. I have attached a recipe for bourbon slush that is always a hit. (Especially, in the heat of the summer.) However, margaritas or daiquiri's or whatever you like would also do. However, I would keep the choices to a minimum. Have a fun party.

BOURBON SLUSH

2 BOILING CUPS OF WATER WITH 2 TEA BAGS
(place water in microwave with tea bags for 3 minutes on high)

1 CUP SUGAR
1 CAN 12oz FROZEN ORANGE JUICE
1 CAN 12oz LEMONADE
7 CUPS WATER
1 陆-2 CUPS BOURBON

Allow sugar to dissolve in the hot tea mixture.
Mix in the remaining ingredients.
Freeze 24 hours or until completely frozen.
Serve as slush.

Serves many.

For drinks you can't go wrong with punch. You should also have finger foods like sandwiches, and fruit salad. Dessert wise I think it'll be fun to have a chocolate fondue (with melted chocolate and fruits to dip). You can save time by buying frozen premade party food at grocery stores like fish fingers, seafood patties etc.

Have a great party!

Well, since women are usually watching what they eat, you have to provide them with something not-sweet so that they do not feel like pigs. I suggest shrimp cocktails, there is a large pack at costco, just put it into a fancy bowl, and you would never guess where you bought it! Have fun with your party!
