How much does it cost to throw a sweet sixteen party? |
How much would it cost to usually throw a sweet sixteen with maybe about 50 or so people? Including the dj, cake, decorations, and the reception hall? I was already planning on cooking the food myself. Rough estimate $30 to $40 per person. That depends where you live:) ... it would be ALOT more to rent a hall in Manhattan or Los Angeles than it would be to rent one in Idaho or Iowa:) ... it would also depend on what type of food you plan to serve. But, I certainly applaud you! Not many 16-yr-olds know how to cook - much less cater a party for 50 people! umm some dj's go for about 50 an hour, if the cake has to feed 50 or so it will prolly cost like 105, the reception hall will prolly cost like 50-75 an hour, and decorations maybe like 40 bucks if you get every thing at a dollar store. why dont you just have the party at your house??? that would save you some money and make it easier on yourself since you're cookin the food.......... you could also make your own cake........... a whole lot of money. |
