Any good ideas for a fun and inexpensive bachelorette party?

My little sister is only 18 and is getting married in less than a month!!! Despite the rush to the altar, I would like to throw her a fun bachelorette party in Phoenix, AZ. Any ideas?

Actually, you can make the bachelorette party a wedding fund-raiser!

Find an old trench coat. Tape suckers or lollipops to the outside of it. All over it. Dress your sister in a bikini and then put the trench coat on top (but don't do up the buttons... leave a little bit of a "view").

Next, safely fasten an arm chair or the seat from an old vehicle (such as a van) to the bed of a pick-up truck (choose your seat based on Arizona state laws). Fasten signs to the back of the seat, the back of the truck, the sides of the truck, etc., reading, "a buck = a suck!"

Have your sister sit in this chair while you drive around Pheonix (stopping at busier places, such as shopping malls). Everyone (usually guys) who donates a dollar to the wedding fund gets to choose a sucker (or lollipop) from your sister's trenchcoat!

This was a popular bachelorette / stagette party activity on the west coast of Canada around the time I was getting married. It's very embarrassing, but a lot of fun. And you can make heaps of money (so make sure you bring extra lollipops and tape!).

One more thing: It's REALLY funny if the bachelorette has her hair styles in a really funny (big?) way and really loud makeup!

Maybe you can get a belly dancer to come and give all of you lessons.

I wouldn't do anything that people have to pay for like the lollipop coat - if they spend money on this, they may feel they do not have to bring a real gift to the wedding. Would she rather have $5.00 from someone or a set of dishes?

Find a belly dancing or pole dancing studio - it is so much fun. We did belly dancing for my bachelorette party and everyone loved it - no matter what age! It is still sexy but not stupid like getting drunk and getting strippers.

You are crazy

Maybe a scavenger hunt looking for things that she will need for her new home?
