Anyone have any tips for hosting a Holiday Mary Kay Party? |
I'm hosting a party a week before Christmas for my younger sister and I want to help her get lots of sales. Just looking for tips, ideas or any experiences that you may have had. invite EVERYONE you know and tell them to bring a guest. work friends, neighbors, family, friends. holiday season will be tough to get people to your house though with preperations and holiday parties going on. Wow that is great of you however make sure your sister has plenty of inventory to fill orders last minute. If it is not possible to do it sooner hope the people you invite are last minute shoppers . Over invite and l tell everyone that you invite bring a friend or two. pass a book or two around now to get outside orders. Call everyone you invite a day or two before the show t remind them. As you sister if she is willing to give a gift for people that bring a friend or even do a drawing for something. From a sister consultant....Yes invite everyone..make your/her house as festive as possible...make sure that you fix gift bags or set of all price levels....even small ones for people that may need alot of little gifts for employees or customers etc. Make sure that she has a lot of inventory, a week before Christmas is a little soon to get products, I have learned that you should have this (we call it a Christmas Open House) either late November or early December. Good Luck and good selling!! |
