How many types of Pitbull dogs are there? |
I mean the pitbull is not only one breed is some kind of classifying dogs. I want to know the dogs that are recognize under the category of pitbull! Pit bull is not a category. It is a breed in and of itself. Descriptive terms like "blue" or "bully" refer to things like the build or color, but they are all still pit bulls. There is only one Pit Bull Terrier, but there are lots of bully breeds, which include the pit bull. Staffies, Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Miniature Bull Terriers, Bulldogs (English and American) and a few other breeds are all also included in this bully breed spectrum. A pitbull is one breed. But lots of people don't know a pitbull from a pony, so they erroneously label a ton of breeds as pitbulls, unfortunately. there is one american pitbull breed..pitbulls were the names for the dogs bred to be put in a pit with a bull (to fight). hence the name.americans just stole the name like they still everything else..to recognize a pitbull is,if it looks like it'll rip your leg off.........keepaway There is one breed of dog known as the American Pit Bull Terrier. "Pit bull" is a nickname for this breed and is occasionally used as a nickname (or incorrectly as a name) for a few other breeds, such as the American Staffordshire Terrier. Didnt you think! there is only one pitbull (american pitbull terrier) Alot of people dont even know what a pitbull is just hear it and cringe.. there are other bully breeds that people think are pitbuuls such as bull dog staffordshire terrier. |
