Does anyone know where I can find step-by-step instructions on how to build a concrete slab foundation? |
I would like to know of any websites that give step-by-step instructions on how to build a monolithic concrete slab foundation for a house that is 2,000 to 3,000 square feet. I have never poured a foundation before, so I thought about hiring someone to pour it for me, but that is tremendously expensive. The only thing that I would hire someone for is to dig the space for the slab foundation to be poured into, since this has to be absolutely precise for a good quality and sound foundation. So, does anyone out there know of a website that would give detailed steps on how to pour a concrete slab foundation? I would appreciate any information that you could give me. dr. concrete, or any do it yourself website could help but if you have never poured one before its worth the money paying someone to do it. I am in the concrete biz and sometimes there is more to it than they tell. good luck. Try the DIY network internet site. They seem to have everything. |
