How do you tell if a stained glass lamp is a real tiffany lamp or tiffany style? |
I hear that Tiffany style is worth more so I was curious. Please let me know. oops. I meant tiffany is worth more. WOW thanks for the answers so far. That's great. I believe that original Tiffany Lamps are numbered and signed by Tiffany. Tiffany signed all of his works. If it's realy...it'll be worth A LOT. I used to work at a place that had real tiffany stained glass windows. The insurance comapny said they couldn't insure them because their price was deemed invaluable.....so they kept them in a locked room behind bullet-proof glass. :) Real Tiffany is worth MUCH MORE than Tiffany style. Real Tiffany lamps are usually marked with a makers mark. It might be hard to find, depending on the style of the lamp. Why don't you post a photo? |
