What is the cost for a professional to install hardwood floors? |
i bought some discounted hardwood of various types because there weren't many square feet of each kind. it is not laminate, but it's thin. I only have the wood, nothing else. could i do it myself. i read some things online about moisture and warping if it's not done properly. ALSO, i want to install these different types & stains of woods together on one floor. Is that unheard of? The cost will vary because of the size of the job, the condition of the timbers, the amount of preparation, the ease or difficulty of the job. Different types of wood look beautiful side by side. A job well worth any money you spend on it. Good luck. Well, $5 to $6 per square foot for installation, sanding, staining and urethane should be a decent estimate, unless you live where construction costs are high. |
