Is there something to use on glass shower doors to prevent spotting? |
I have a glass shower door that always spots. Looking for something to coat it so the water runs off and there aren't anymore spots. Ideas? If they are the frosted type, you can use lemon oil (as you would use on wood furniture). For the new type of doors that are totally clear, you can apply Window Wax, which helps to prevent the buildup for a few weeks or so. Lemon oil works good.(found with the dusting supplies like Pledge etc.) Vinegar Use CLR to remove any spots, then try rain x or other glass polish on it. I have read to use foamy shaving cream to clean it with. Don't know if it works. Can't hurt to try it. I had this problem too and I had to put CLR on it to get them off but now I use scrubbing bubbles automatic shower cleaner and it works really well. Just press the button when you get out of the shower and it works really good. Clean it good first though and then you will not have to after that. |
