What colour wall goes best with a dark green earthy colour couch?

The couch has a trim of wood along the bottom that is espresso colour. and the floors are oak hardwood.

I have a wheat colour in the room with the oak hardwood. It's been this colour 4 yrs but it matched perfectly. I am just bored of the colour and want something more fresh looking and modern. the other combo was very traditional looking.

You can try out different colors to see what they would look like. Personally with a dark green couch I would go with a nice wheat color.

EDIT:
The dark green couch might be hard to work with. How about putting a nice spring green or light yellow on the walls and accent your couch with pillows to match the walls maybe give it a nice spring floral pattern throughout the room.

I just did my couch over with a dark green ultra suede and went with a brighter green, same hue, walls. It picked up the lighter green in my maroon, green and tan rug, I have oak floors too. My room is bright and I love my couch. Good luck!

Beige or light green; maybe mint green if you don*t like the beige color . White is always good.

a tan color. or possibly even a maroon (which may be too christmas-y)

Why don't you try a lighter shade of green..a soft sage that complements your couch. Or find a printed pillow that you like for your couch and choose a color from it for an accent wall.
