How do I measure and cut flashing for countertop? |
I have a counter top that has a rounded edge - I want to cut aluminum flashing (from a 28" X 7' roll) to measure perfectly to the space. But without the basic math skills (having a phobia when I was young) I am not sure of the formula needed to measure and cut the piece. I am not sure of the formula needed to do your task, however, when all else fails practice. Meaning, try to get a hold of a large box or a big enough piece of cardboard and start measuring, cutting, and practicing on it until it becomes the exact fit that you need. Now you have a pattern, and you can cut the flashing once with a piece that will work. Good Luck. |
