What is the consensus of putting in the newly advertised bath fitters of what I have now? |
One of my co-workers has raved about the job bath fitters had done for her in remodeling her bathroom..not sure if this is the way to go. I have tile in my entire bathroom and a porcelain tub..any suggestions! I have seen those kind of things in motels. They look tacky and flimsy. I have used bathfitters and the results and workmanship were excellent. Furthermore, the acrlic material they use does not stain. I will use the bathfitters again. I feel this way, if a person has mold in the bathroom and they cover it up, it is still there somewhere. My brother's vinyl has cracked and when they took it down, they had to replace all the walls. A lot of home owners are keeping the tile and porcelain tubs. My tub is 50 years old, pink, had black edge surrounds. I replaced the black with white, and it has no chips after 50 years. It speaks for itself. And I have beautiful wallpaper too. I would like to see some of the vinyl stand up to 50 years without chips. I know it vinyl fades, I had it in another home. RE-glaze, talk to a contractor There are 3 main companies doing this type of remodel |
