What is the difference between masonry cement and portland type 1 cement? |
Can type 1 portland mixed with sand be substituted for masonry cement? What is the benefit or trade offs? It depends on what you are going to do with it. masonry cement has sand, portland is straight cement. There are 5 types of cement.. Portland cement type I is a type of masonry cement that when mixed with sand, aggregate and water becomes concrete. |
