How do you get chocolate frosting off a suede purse? |
My wife set her purse on a chocolate brownie and it got frosting on it. How is suede best cleaned? Suede is not easy to clean and generally speaking should not be wet cleaned as this only draws dirt further in. My mother uses salt for something like that. Sprinkle tablesalt, wait a longish while and then vacuum the salt. Lick it ;) rub lightly with a damp cloth Stick it in the freezer. When the chocolate is frozen, pick off the chunks then use a stiff bristle brush to remove the rest. Frosting is mostly fat oils and may stain. You may need to have the stain removed professionally. get a suede cleanner or use warm water NO SOAP and wash it off in the same direction as it is already. |
