What would be the advantage of having 2 closers on a storm door?

I notice the higher end storm doors have two hydrolic closers. One on the top and one on the bottom. What is the advantage of this? It seems the door would be harder to open right?

In most cases, you see 2 on full view doors. The glass is heavy, and closes easier with 2.

Higher end doors are heavier and require more even closing power. This also helps prevent "twisting" on the door and hinges.

In windy places like South Dakota they are almost a must. The wind will actually keep a screen door open here and open it back up and occasionally rip it apart or break something. The two cylinders are needed to make sure the thing shuts.

The down side is it closes to fast if you have your hands full or are trying to bring something long in.

I have one and the advantage is, you can use your foot to hold the door open when you have your arms totally full of grocery sacks and children. It also foot releases. I absolutely love mine. I dont use the option everyday but when I need it, its wonderful. Buy one!
