Is it possible to antique white thermofoil cabinets - ie change to vanilla with nutmeg glaze? How?

I have 42" white thermofoil cabinets. They are in good condition. The cabinets are very nice looking the color is not.

You can get a primer that is for formica.and prime them with that first. You must let the primer dry completely and then you can paint whatever color you wish. I think whitewashing them is out of the question.
