How can I make a portable model sweeping staircase for a retail display or where can I buy? |
I sell angelic figurines and would like to create a 'stairway to heaven' effect where the angels sit on the stairs. Ideally it would be a romantically sweeping balustrade staircase. Overall the dimensions would be 3 ft wide, 3 ft deep and 4 ft high. I would welcome any suggestions on how to make this a reality or where I can buy such a staircase. Many thanks. You can draw up some sketches of your ideas and ask around to see if anyone knows of a good blacksmith or metalworker/fabricator in your area. They usually accept orders of custom metalwork, and staircases are normal for them. I see one answer mentions Joiner. That being the case I assume you or the answerer are in the UK??? |
