How do I fix curtains to upvc conservatory? |
I want to fix curtains but how do I fix the track or pole to the upvc in my conservatory? It runs the height of the room so there is no room for a wooden baton to attach fittings to? I'm not sure if you have any space at all above the conservatory, between the tops of the windows & the ceiling. If not you'll have to fix the curtain pole to the ceiling using suitable plasterboard fixings that will take the weight. If you do have space, the pole should be fixed to the window frames using self-tapping screws. most PVC windows have a metal tub in the uprights, drill through and put in a self taping screw. not sure if this assists but b and q used to do how to guides....other than that why not ask the manufacturers...as it must be a common prob... |
