How can I fit a shower and curtain above my bath without having to drill into walls?

I'm in rented accomodation so cannot drill anything permanent. Looked at a basic tap to shower head but has anyone any good ideas for fitting a shower curtain?

U can buy poles from large diy stores that are telescopic(so they adjust for difrent width walls)& they suction to the wall so theres no drilling or fixings. They would only be any good if ur baths against one wall as theyre for baths that r againstr the length of one wall. If u try a few difrent large diy stores telling them what u want to do & that uv heard about these type of poles they should be able to help u.Light weight plastic shower curtains with rings in the holes on top of the curtain slide on them.U wouldnt want a heavier weight curtain as im not sure how good they r for anything heavy but the cheap plastic curtains with the rings r fine & it saves u spending a lot 4 rented accomodation.

Yes. Buy a telescopic shower curtain rail.

most DIY stores sell pressure mounted shower curtain rails such as Argos

yes i siliconed the round thing for the pole onto the wall at both ends of the pole.

Usually the rail that holds the shower curtain can be extendable so it sort of sucks itself to the wall.....

Not easy, try scaffolding

Suction !

If the bath tub is in an alcove (walls all around it), you can get an extendable curtain rod with rubber knobs on each end anywhere they sell shower curtains. To expand the length of the rod, you twist one end counter clockwise. When it's just barely longer than the width of the bath tub (actually between the walls on either end of the tub), you can slide the rod between the walls (it's spring-loaded and will give a little) to position it. You then twist the one end some more to secure it between the walls.

You can buy expanding telescopic poles that go as short or as long as you desire, then you put them up and fit them to either wall really tight, i've had mine up for 6 years! They aren't expenisve and you can find them everywhere...

You can buy a tension shower curtain. Put it inbetween the walls and twist it and it stays up.

You can get extendable poles that iwll span the space between the walls. B&Q have got them, so have Wickes, Homebase Focus, all of 'em.

Hi check out Argos for spring loaded shower curtain rails, I've got two and they work really well.

they make shower curtain rods that are expandable with tension on them so they pretty much fit any width and they actually do stay up. Also you can just easily undo it to take it with you when you decide to move

There's a pole the can extend inbetween the two walls with rubber guards at the end. Use that...

The computer says "Spring loaded pole & a suction cup".

You can get spring-loaded shower curtain poles from places like wilkinsons, tj hughes, woolies etc - they're great as they support themselves with no fittings - only drawback is they only work on the long side of the bath if you have a wall each end!!
