How to loosen a stripped and rele tight screw from a paintball gun.? |
Ok i bought this gun from my friend cause it was a steal. The only problem is that he overtightened and stipped the screw holding the trigger on the frame. I hope the shock from shooting the gun would loosen it but i have been using it for months and it hasn't bugged. I want to replace the trigger with a faster one but i cant get it unscrewed. Any suggestions? Drill off the head of the screw with a drill bit of the same size....once the screw head is off, you can remove the trigger and hopefully have enough screw shank left to remove with a visegrips or pliers. Be careful not to remove any more of the screw shank as possible when drilling off the head. You can also cut the head off, re-drill the hole and re-tap it..... |
