I accidently dropped a thin plastic cannister in my toilet as it was flushing. How can I get it out? |
A couple of days ago, I dropped long "airborne" tube into the toilet, and flushed it. Everything was fine at first, but now that toilet is flodding. I am wonderinfg if anyone has any tips for removing this tube without calling a plumer. Would a snake suffice? A snake would only push it further down. Your best bet is to unbolt the toilet from the floor and remove it so you can get something to get ahold of it and remove it. You may even have to drill a hole depending on the material and use a wire or something to pass through the hole and bend so you can pull it up and out! Be sure to buy a new wax ring to replace the toilet with.Scrape all the old gasket from both sides of the flange before replacing!!! Give the 10 to pappy; and take the suggestion. you can try a snake, it may be able to "spear" it and retrieve it |
