How easy/hard is it to install a pool liner?

Is it easy to install a pool liner by your self? I need a new one in my pool (15ft round). I was going to get some friends together and do it some weekend. I was wondering if anyone does this for a living or has done it already themselves or should I just pay to get it done professionally. Thanks.

it can be difficult you need a little experience or you are guaranteed to have wrinkles in it. but first you have to drain and pull out the old one and inspect for cracks or roots or anything that might hurt the new one. once you are ready to put the new one in put in and fit nicely where you want it and secure it then slowly add water. stay in the pool a while to push out any wrinkles that may start to form. if you are able to hook a wet dry vac through the skimmer basket put it in and tape in place and turn on this will suck the liner to the wall and reduce the amount of wrinkles. then continue to fill and cut holes for skimmer and filter. hope this helped.

We had one with a liner and it is easier if you have someone helping you. We used our hands to pull out wrinkles and a broom and our feet to kick out the wrinkles as it is starting to fill up. I'm talking about water that's less than an inch. It's a pain if you want it perfect. Don't forget you need to level the ground as much as possible or your pool can collapse. We learned the hard way. The next pool we bought was the easy set up without a liner. hope that helps.

HOPE YOU HAVE A LOT OF PATIENCE.IT IS VERY HARD TO PUT A LINER IN. WE PUT ONE IN A 24 FT. ROUND POOL.UNLESS YOUR TIGHT FOR MONEY SEEK PROFESSIONAL.S.D.
